What you're agreeing to
These Terms of Service govern your use of durodola.africa and all services offered by Durodola Abdulhad, trading as Ascent Tech Hub Africa. By using this site, subscribing to the newsletter, using our free tools, or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the site or purchase any products. For questions before engaging, email durodoladuro55@gmail.com.
What this site offers
durodola.africa offers three categories of service:
The newsletter, diagnostic tools (GTM Evaluation, GTM Scorecard, SME Credit Audit), and blog posts. These are provided as-is. While we aim for accuracy, free content does not constitute professional advice and carries no guarantee of specific outcomes.
Intelligence reports and downloadable guides. Delivered electronically immediately after payment. Pricing is shown at checkout. Due to the nature of digital goods, these are non-refundable after download — see the Purchases section for full details.
Diagnostic sessions, strategy sprints, and advisory retainers. Each engagement is confirmed by a separate engagement letter or agreement, which governs the specific scope, deliverables, and payment terms. These Terms apply where not superseded by that agreement.
Payments, refunds, and booking terms
Currency. All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
Digital products. Guides and intelligence reports are delivered immediately after payment is confirmed. Because the content is transmitted at the point of purchase, refunds are not available after download. If you experience a technical issue — the file did not deliver, the download link is broken — contact us within 48 hours and we will resolve it.
Session bookings. Office Hours and consulting sessions are confirmed by calendar invite after payment or scheduling. Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the scheduled time receive a full credit toward a future session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows are non-refundable.
Payment processing. Payments are handled by third-party processors. By completing a purchase, you also agree to their terms of service. We do not store payment card details.

Free tools: what they are and what they aren't
The GTM Evaluation, GTM Scorecard, and SME Credit Audit tools are provided free of charge to help founders and operators think through their situation. They are informational resources, not professional advice.
- Results are generated based on inputs you provide and are not reviewed or verified by a human
- Outputs should be used as a starting point for thinking, not as a substitute for professional legal, financial, or strategic advice
- No liability is accepted for decisions made based on tool outputs
If you want a human review of your situation, book a session at /book.
The extent of our responsibility
durodola.africa and its services are provided in good faith, with care and skill. However, we cannot accept unlimited liability for outcomes you experience as a result of acting on information, tools, or advice provided through this site.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Durodola Abdulhad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any service — including loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption. Maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
How formal engagements work
Consulting engagements — including strategy sprints, advisory retainers, and institutional mandates — are governed primarily by individual engagement letters agreed between the parties before work begins.
- The engagement letter defines scope, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms for that specific project
- These Terms of Service apply to all aspects of the engagement not explicitly addressed in the engagement letter
- Confidentiality terms are set out in the engagement letter; absent a specific agreement, both parties treat the other's non-public information as confidential
- Intellectual property produced under a consulting engagement is defined in the engagement letter; by default, client-specific deliverables are assigned to the client on full payment
For institutional work or retainers, a separate Master Services Agreement may be used in place of an engagement letter.
Jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, or the use of durodola.africa or its services, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication. If you have a concern, contact us at durodoladuro55@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
When these Terms are updated
We may update these Terms of Service as the site and its services evolve. When we make material changes — changes that affect your rights or obligations — we will notify active newsletter subscribers by email before the changes take effect.
The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the site after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
